Theo who saw Crystal's presence at the wedding reception of Nic and Bryona was a little surprised. Theo knew, even knew very well who was invited by the Gerardo and Martinez families. In the list he never once saw the name of the woman.

Theo, who was outside Crystal's apartment after he drove her home, could only lean on her car while looking at one of the apartment units that had just turned on the lights. He was pretty sure that's where Crystal now lives.

The flashback

After not seeing Freya again, Theo's eyes are now on a woman named Crystal. Without much talking, he approached the woman.

“Crystal?” greet Theo.

“Theo, hi!” greet Crystal with a smile.

“What are you doing here? And what are you alone? Where's your husband?” theo asked while looking left and right, as if looking for someone.

“I came alone and seemed to always be alone,” Crystal replied, making Theo link his eyebrows wondering.

“I'm divorced,” said Crystal once again to let Theo understand what he meant. Theo listened to him, but in his heart he did not feel the slightest pleasure.

The woman before him was Crystal. The woman he loved so much and so wanted to make her life companion, the mother of his children. Now the opportunity is open, but why is his feeling no longer what it used to be.

“I'm here to talk to you,” pinta Crystal.

“Talk to me?” Crystal nodded to clarify her answer.

Finally Theo takes Crystal out of the hotel to the park where there are park chairs so they can sit.

“Say,” The two of them are now sitting together on a park bench with a lamp illuminating right next to it.

“I'm sorry to you. I actually know how you feel about me, it's just that I dodged.”

There was no voice or answer from Theo. The bespectacled man simply looked straight ahead, without looking towards Crystal.

“Actually I have the same feeling as you, I love you. It's just that I don't feel like I have a future with you. But now, I have seen that you have changed. You are already the CEO of AR Group, which is why I am confident that I will have a future with you,” Crystal said.

So all this time you didn't want to be with me because you saw that I didn't have the wealth and power you wanted to secure your future? You're looking for another man for your own sake, without thinking about how I feel. Now you come back and hope I still have the same feeling - inner Theo with a small smile.

“Is that as narrow as your mind is to me?” ask Theo.

“I don't mean to demean you. But I'm a woman, I'll definitely think about my life and my children's. I don't want to live hard and make my kids hard either. My mind is not narrow, just realistic,” heard Crystal's answer, Theo again smiled wryly. It turns out that all this time he loved a woman who did not want to live with him if in a difficult situation.

“So now you want us to be together?” ask Theo to the point. If Crystal could say directly, why wouldn't he.

“If I may know, what made you divorced?” ask Theo.

“Frederic had an affair with his secretary and he had dared to play rough with me,” Crystal replied.

“You don't love him?”

“Love? I've never loved anyone but you.”

If you really loved me, you would never leave me and marry another man. You will wait for me, accompany me to achieve success together - Inner Theo.

“I'll take you home, it's night,” Theo gets up and will drive Crystal home. Crystal felt Theo was paying attention to her. Her heart was blossoming and was increasingly convinced that Theo would return with her.

They don't talk much in the car. Theo simply asked where Crystal lived and drove him there. He didn't even offer her dinner.

“Can I be honest with you?” Theo was only speaking when they reached the front of the apartment where Crystal lived.

“Tell me, I will gladly listen,” Crystal tilts her body to face Theo.

“I am indeed a CEO as you say, but AR Group is not entirely mine. AR Group was the result of a merger between Alexander's company and Rodriguez's company, and was backed by funds from G-Corp.”

“Really?” Crystal wondered a little.

Then I should have seduced Nicholas Gerardo, not Theodore Alexander. But it doesn't seem like a good thing. I'll start with Theo to pave the way for Nic. Isn't it cool that widows everywhere? “I go down first. Don't you want to stop by first?” ask Crystal.

“No, I'll go straight home. Dad and Mom must have been looking for me.”

“Alright, see you,” Crystal smiles then walks into her apartment. Theo immediately drove his vehicle back to the residence of the Alexander family. His meeting tonight with Crystal was an unexpected one, and now he knows how Crystal feels about him.
