As the war ended, Evie and the other troops made their way to the palace where they were to rest. Once there Evie is approached by one of the leaders of God's Way, Oris Gabino
"Excuse me Kyros, can we talk for a second?"
"Look... What do you want to talk about?"
"Before was your voice hoarse?"
"I'm not okay."
"So your voice sounds a little lethargic when your body is very big haha."
"Hehe yes. (why should I get the memory and body of a man² this, sucks) whispered Evie
"Well, this is my question, why were you so shocked at our arrival, and why did you lose and get hurt when you were just fighting a small commander?"
Ask Oris
"Emm that was... I dreamt I wasn't focused."
"What.. You can still daydream in a war like that?"
"Haha yes maybe because I am very strong. (there is no harm in me bragging a little hehe.).
"You're really strong, but why were you surprised when the God's Way army appeared earlier Kyros?"
"Did you just find out about this God's Way army?"
"it's a good time to ask about the God's Way group more deeply, it's a golden opportunity" Evie said in her heart
"Ehhh yes, I just found out about the quiet group of God's Way, that's why I was a bit surprised earlier" replied Evie
"It's strange I think this army is known by all people, it turns out there are still some who do not know it."
"Sorry before Mr. Oris Gabino."
"Call me commander oris alone."
"Okay Commander Oris, can you tell me about the origin of this God's Way team?" ask Evie
"Why are you asking the origin of God's Way?"
"I'm curious and want to know more about the God's Way Commander's army."
"Hm.. Well, if you insist, I don't think Commander Kyros is interested in this kind of story."
Oris starts the story while walking towards the royal door accompanied by Evie who walks beside her while listening to the story from Oris.
In 330 BC (Before AD) Alexander the Great came to colonize Egypt and would establish something called the Ptolemaic Dynasty. Ptolemy ruled for generations until Ptolemy XIII, around 51 BC (Before AD) there was a split between Ptolemy XIII and Cleopatra who was his sister and wife so that the supporters of both sides split.
The split resulted in civil war and threatened the security of the people, an Egyptian soldier and priest at the time named Ishaq established a special military force to guard the citizens because there was a conflict between two leaders, Ptolemy XIII and Cleopatra.
Cleopatra learned of Ishaq's special forces and invited him to ally against Ptolemy XIII, but Ishaq refused the offer and did not side with anyone. One day Ishaq and all his special forces were on standby at a temple called the Temple of Edfu or Temple Of Edfu, because it was reported that there would be clashes there.
But when they got there, nothing happened. Not long after a giant fireball hit them very hard and left half the troops dead instantly, a group of Ptolemy XIII's troops were standing at them with a large enough number to destroy Ishaq and his special forces.
The troops immediately moved towards Ishaq and his troops, they were fighting very fiercely, but the Ishaq special forces were repulsed due to the small number of troops, Ishaq ordered to flee and run towards the main fortress of Cleopatra with his surviving troops.
Unfortunately the enemy forces managed to pursue Ishaq and kill all his special forces until Ishaq left alone in siege from all directions. Ishaq, who is now on the edge, tries to fight with all his might but in vain because the number of Ishaq is outnumbered. Not long after, there was a thick smoke until the troops and Ishaq could not see anything.
"What is this smoke is the Ptolemy sending another army?" ask Ishaq
"Who are they, they're not Egyptian soldiers!"
Ishaq whispered
Behind the army were two men standing and it turned out that they were Queen Cleopatra and one of the Greek commanders (seen from her clothes).
"SAVE THEM ALL!"
shouted the Greek commander
The Greek soldiers went down and slaughtered the army that was besieging Ishaq, the Greek soldiers looked very good at playing their weapons and the Ptolemaic army was finally repulsed. Cleopatra and the commander of the Greek army approached Ishaq.
"How now?" "You want to ally with me?" ask Cleopatra
Ishaq just kept silent not speaking a bit
"All right now we'll take you to the palace and heal your wounds"
Cleopatra with a smile
They then walked to Cleopatra's palace,
Throughout the journey Ishaq only kept silent with a glum look down thinking the death of his members was his fault that could not protect him.
"How about you consider my offer once again, we are similarly hunted by Ptolemy's forces." "we can cooperate."
"You can avenge the members of your army who have fought no battle."
Cleopatra's
"Do you think I want to ally myself just for revenge, queen?" exclaim Ishaq
"Ptolemy XIII not only wants me and you, but everyone who opposes him will be wiped out." "Imagine if he managed to lead Egypt, what would he be like?"
"Then what should I do?"
"All my armies have fallen, have you sent me forward alone against the forces of Ptolemy XIII?"
"I've made an alliance with the Greeks and they will help us, introduce this is one of the greatest commanders of the Greek army named Julius Caesar."
"Include Ishaq, my name is Julius Caesar and my presence here to regain control of Egypt with the queen Cleopatra, we are in alliance."
Julius introduces himself
"What does this have to do with revenge?" ask Ishaq
"We will help you, you will set up a new army to be filled by experienced commanders and you will be its leader."
After hearing that Ishaq was silent for a moment, but eventually he accepted Julius and Cleopatra's offer and swore allegiance to Cleopatra, whom he now considers a queen.
A few days later there was a great massacre of troops belonging to Ptolemy XIII and his followers, people around believed that the perpetrators were a group of gold masked people and very proficient in jumping buildings.
The army was none other than the God's Way led by Ishaq and the army commanders who were his subordinates.
After the massacre they succeeded in killing Ptolemy XIII and his followers and made Cleopatra successfully become a leader in Egypt and assisted by Julius the Emperor as his companion.
