Being Struggled Due to Debt
CHAPTER VII
Hana's eyes looked outwards through a window not far from her sight. That afternoon, the clear sky suddenly turned into a cloudy, swarm of black clouds gathered and became one in the air, a strong wind followed by thunder and lightning strikes until a heavy rain drenched the entire city of Tepesh. Ayunda who along with his father had been sitting on the terrace finally ran in and secured himself from the falling rainwater grains and entered the terrace due to the wind. Arriving inside the house, Gabriel orders his daughter to close the doors and windows.
“Please to close the door and window, let the water not enter here.”
“Good father” Ayunda too, running orders from his father.
After everything is closed. Ayunda and her father sat in a chair. Gabriel lit the TV while, beyond the thunder and lightning still struck but, Gabriel paid no heed to it. He kept activating it. When the TV is on, Ayunda who takes over he takes the remote and his finger presses the button he changes the TV channels one by one to get the film that suits his will. However, several times switching channels there is no one that matches it.
“You're actually looking for what movie?” Ask Gabriel.
“I look for a match with me”Jawab Ayunda.
“Feelings of dad are all for you. That's Upin and Ipin, Boboiboy, even your favorite K-Pop news is there. That time all doesn't fit?” said Gabriel while asking for a remote from his son. “Sini give me the remote, let me find a suitable”
“I don't want to. Let me find.” Reply Ayunda. He stood up from the chair and ran around his father laughing. Finally Gabriel ran after his son even though he ran like he was playing gici-gici. He also laughed with his son, until it sounded like a commotion in Hana's ears. Hannah approached them there. Arriving in the living room she saw her husband and son playing chase like a cat and mouse while, the TV was on. Hana takes a deep breath and yells “Diaaaam.” Gabriel and his son stopped, they sat in the chair as before. While Hana looked at the two of them with a flat face indicating that she was angry.
“Who would dare turn on the TV at a time like this?” Ask Hana.
“Ayah” reply Ayunda briefly. His finger pointed at Gabriel.
“Come kill it, television you do not hear that outside there is thunder and lightning” Perinta Hana, she also asked her husband “Dad like if this TV is broken?” “No bu” replied Gabriel.
“Yes if you don't like it, why turn it on there is thunder and lightning. If in a lightning strike will be damaged he.”
“already mother” said Ayunda after finished non-activating the TV. Hana then told him to go to sleep. Gabriel remained with his wife.
Ayunda went into the room. In his mind, he felt this half-day, like there was a difference in his two masters. Her father's angry mother was the same. “Is this because of outstanding debt?”
“Not-not. This is not because of debt but, because I made it wrong.” Say it in the heart.
Ayunda then threw away all his thoughts about the debt and looked for a comfortable position to sleep while covering his body with a blanket.
After Gabriel turned off the TV he proceeded to tidy up the already disheveled chairs and tables into their respective places. When he finished he persuaded his wife to sit down because, something would be conveyed. “Mother come sit” take Gabriel with her hand wiping the dust on the chair.
Hannah sat in the chair Gabriel had given her.
“Mother, I want to say something but, mother don't get mad.”
“You said what dad?” Tanya Hana was curious.
“Daddy fired” replied Gabriel briefly.
Hana surprise.
“What!? dad fired!”
“He's mom, he said revenue at the store decreased so dad got fired. Later father's salary in this month, will be sent along with the money sign thank you” explained Gabriel gave a reason.
“But later, dad will be looking for a new job.” Gabriel continues.
“Mommy heard? What father talk” Ask Gabriel. Because his wife had only been silent since he spoke until the end.
“Listen father” replied Hana.
“Mother is angry, if dad is fired?”
“No dad. Mom just sad to hear dad fired.”
Gabriel held tightly to the wife's hand, wiping away the tears flowing down Hana's cheek.
Hana was sad, she was confused thinking about how to get money to pay the debt. While the debt collector will come in the near future to collect.
“Daddy how about our debt?” Ask Hana
“Dad doesn't know anymore ma'am, our money is almost gone. While tomorrow the debt collector will come.”
“Where do you know that, debt collector will come tomorrow” Tanya Hana.
“I heard from Ayunda, said there will be people coming, but do not want to meet you. So, I draw a temporary conclusion.”
“No way” said Hana, lifting her butt from the chair and moving from that place.
“Bu”
“Ia dad” reply Hana.
“Mother why did Ayunda know that we have a debt?”
“Mother didn't know father” replied Hana raised both her hands and shoulders.
When the answer reached Gabriel's ear, he stood up from the chair, to go to the room but because he could not walk properly, his wife helped him into the room. When she arrived, Hana closed the room door, while Gabriel continued on to the bed. Instantly the atmosphere of the room was silent, all that was heard was the sound of a ticking clockwork. Gabriel mlyrik towards him turned out, it was two o'clock more than five mnit his sign to take a nap. However, this couple, did not sleep. The two of them were still together to unite their minds to find answers, from where until their son could find out if they both had debts.
“Dad not to, Ayunda menguping talk kita”
“No way ma'am, all this time we never talked in front of him. Also the talk about this is always done in the middle of the night when he is asleep. Where could he possibly be spouting?” gabriel said as he laid his body on the bed.
“He also sih.”
Hana nodded, as her hand pulled a red plastic chair behind the door and placed it next to the wardrobe. Then he sat on it.
“Mom should find out” says Gabriel.
“He's dad.”
Hana finally stood up from the chair, and out of the room, her hand closed the door tightly. He left Gabriel alone in the room. Gabriel who that afternoon, his body in a blanket of cold that stung to his bones finally slept soundly.
