Asti Girl Carrying the Curse

Asti Girl Carrying the Curse
Chapter 9. Between Two Choices

That afternoon Asti was struck by a black Fortuner parked right in front of his shop. Not yet had he moved from the plastic bench he occupied, the face of the sumringah Bulek Ratih appeared in front of his shop.

"Asti, we're home !"

" Buck!" asti's jovial scream immediately hugged the woman who had taken care of him since he was a baby.

The embrace was very tight and soothing. From behind Bulek Ratih's shoulder appeared another dear woman, Bude Ayu. The woman hugged Asti because she missed not seeing the beautiful face of her nephew in a week.

From the front of the car door of the woman who was almost the same age as Bude Ayu, she smiled gently at Asih. Behind him was a rather old man but still sturdy and gallant. It seems, Asti is somewhat familiar with the look of the face is similar ....

Well, it was precisely the person he thought was walking gallantly out from behind the wheel of the black car. Who else if not Satrio Wibowo!

" Asti, this is Bude Widyati his son Mbah Sanjaya. This is her husband, Pakde Cahyadi. Well, that's my handsome Cah," said Bude Ayu explained who were the people who were with him in the car earlier.

The store was crowded with the presence of people who were still relatives of his daughter, Mbah Sri Sumiarsih.

Asti immediately ran to Yu Yemi's stall to order 3 warm sweet teas and two hot cups of coffee.

Bude Ayu has also bought several market snacks that are sold by many mothers in front of the market. They sell using wooden tables to place the market hawker containers. Some of them sell food made from various processed cassava, glutinous rice and other traditional cakes.

In the store, Asti has held a mat for the women to sit on a slimehan. While Pakde Cahyadi chatted with his son while observing the market situation is quite crowded

" You're beautiful, Nastiti! " Bisik Bude Widyati. " So my son-in-law, huh? Let Satrio ask to be placed in this area or in Purwokerto. Not far from his job!"

The woman's speech made Asti choke, because he was biting food in the form of fried foods from grated cassava and coconut and added tolo nuts.

Bulek Ratih directly thrust his warm tea glass. Asti's face flushed red and still coughed for a moment. He still patted his chest repeatedly to ease the stone as well to relieve his pity. His actions actually became the laughter of the three women who were more mature than his age.

There seemed to be a pair of eyes from the narrow-eyed man who kept observing the relatives that filled Asti's shop. Bude Ayu and Bulek Ratih he already knows. But the older woman looked familiar and dear to Asti, she had just seen him. Not to mention the two men standing a little far away from the shop they seemed to be like father and son.

The tall, strapping young man easily pulled the rolling door of the shop. Asti shop was closed when the day was still at 11:00.

The group seems to be heading to the Soto kuali stall, which is located at the crossroads of the highway in front of the market. The young man looked leisurely walking behind Asti.

Rum said that the young man had come some time ago to the Asti store wearing his police uniform. Kusno is getting anxious! How easily the young man approached Asti. Moreover, they are related to brotherhood relations . Without feeling the man had squeezed - squeezing both palms. It looks like he got a new rival to attract the attention of Asti!

The male servants were busy arranging the two wooden tables in the soto stall to put together and add two more chairs. They enjoy the soto cauldron, although this cuisine is not typical of this area. But because of the unique way of serving and the stall is quite clean and spacious, this stall is never empty of visitors.

Satrio got a bench that faced Asti directly. The girl's delicate and smooth face in addition to being somewhat reddish was also sweating.

As far as Satrio was concerned, Asti only added one spoon of sambal to his sauce. While Bulek Ratih and Bude Ayu put the sambal more than two spoons, but his face was ordinary.

" Want to add some iced tea?"

Satrio asked Asti, immediately called the shopkeeper to prepare the request.

The parents talked warmly. They will later stay at Bude Ayu's house, before returning to Purwokerto the day after.

Bulek Ratih who seemed touched when Bude Widyati again invited him to come to his house, with his family. It feels unsatisfied that the woman enjoys touring in a week to visit some relatives of Bude Ayu from the mother's side.

They visited the relatives who settled in the town of Boyolali from the family Mbah Putri and then to Salatiga. Tomorrow they go to Semarang before going to Magelang and Yogyakarta. Now they have returned to their village.

Satrio quickly paid for all the soto and drinks. His hand accidentally touched Asti's fingers which had also thrust two hundred thousand pieces after seeing the bill from the maids who were delivered to their tables.

" It's. I paid, yes. This is my family too!"

Asti looked at the man somewhat embarrassed. Back Bude Widyati held Asti's hand while out of the stall and walked back to the store.

They waited for a while as Bude Ayu and Bulek Ratih shopped for kitchen necessities. Again the mighty one pulled the door of the Asti shop easily, this time the shop reopened.

" Come on! we're going to Bude Ayu's house. He said he was tired and wanted to rest ? " Pakde Cahyadi's heavy voice finally broke Satrio's seemingly reluctant turmoil leaving Asti alone in his shop.

" Sir, we stopped by for a while to Mas Herlambang's place. Later!"

The man patted his son on the shoulder to reassure him. Satrio took the car out of the market after all the passengers had entered.

Politely Asti replied to the wishes of the people in the car. Not including from Satrio who released a long-distance kiss. Ow hell!

The old house was again crowded after Satrio and his parents gathered in the living room. They fell asleep in the room for a while.

Precisely Bude Ayu called Mbah Muji to massage Satrio who claimed his body aches. Practically, a trip around Central Java and Yogyakarta in a week is he who became the driver.Although there is one male cousin who participated accompanied during the trip. But the man returned to Boyolali after the group was going home to his village.

In the kitchen, Bude cooks for Asti's assisted dinner. There are some dishes that it makes. The dish looked simple yet savored their guests voraciously.

"Tuh, mother-in-law! It could be anything! Yeah cook, find money. A house this big is still clean and tidy. How, Sir?"

" So sweet, Mom ." Sahut Pak Cahyadi after hearing the words of his wife.

Astri was bowed on his stool after accompanying his guests to eat. It turned out that Pakde Cahyadi was more quiet and more cool than his son's attitude.

" De, let's go make it. Mumpung all collected. Asti how? You want to, right ?" Said Bude Widyati again opening the conversation.

Asti's face grew more indecisive as he began to observe them one by one.

"We haven't known her for too long, Bude. Didn't the curse scare the Bude family?"

" Asti, don't be swayed by those rumors or myths. Not today's time!" Answer Mr. Cahyadi firmly.

" There used to be people who fabricated the myth for personal gain. Maybe because of dislike and resentment or something." Clearly him.

" Right, Asti." Timpal Bude Widyati will not lose.

" It just so happens after the opening of the road a few years later your father died and not long Mbah Putri. But all those humans will die too. Who doesn't know when the time is? The proof is Mbah Winangun can still take care of until you are a teenager, right? Is it because of a curse?"

Everyone began to accept the facts conveyed by both of Satrio's parents. Understandably, Bude Widyati is a former high school principal in his city, while Mr. Cahyadi serves as ASN and leads in the district office in a region, in Purwokerto.

" Even in religion, we do not know karma. Still Junaidi's family accepts all his bad deeds."

" Don't know about Mr. Junaidi and Mr. Baskoro's problem, is it ?" ask Bude Ayu carefully.

" It has long been known, from Mr. Sanjaya. Occasionally Mbah Kung looked at his grandchildren in Purwokerto. He even heard about the ex, Si Embossed which became a stall. Also his grandson who died. The villagers were already lazy to help the endless Junaidi family for trouble!"
