Anjani Darling

Anjani Darling
A Plan

"What am I supposed to do?" I don't know how many times the question came out, while pacing on one side of the ball field that was not far from the school.

"Actually Mrs Ratih is very good" said Brother Philip.

"But I want to go home, brother! I just want to be a father and mother. They would never be able to take me back home if Mrs Ratih had made me her son. That's what I saw when one-by-one the orphanage kids were adopted."

"Anjani, I get it. But, there's no harm if you talk directly to Mrs Ratih. Don't let him see the head mother,"

"But ...."

"If Mrs Ratih had met the chief, you know, she would have gladly given you, because if you had left she would have escaped from a troublemaker, as he often said!"

I understand what Philip said. Without having to wait for the song, we went back to school, looking for Mrs Ratih in the teacher's room, but she was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is Mrs Ratih?" my many.

"You look over there, I'm looking over here!" brother Philip's orders. We split up, asking the students who were still wandering around the school, even though the event was over.

"What are you two looking for?" suddenly Zein appeared. "Anjani, let's go home!"

"We're looking for Mrs Ratih" I said.

"Oh Bu Ratih's. He was on his way to the orphanage, but Mrs Ratih was looking for you, and she wanted to see my mother ..." before Zein's brother finished explaining, Philip and I ran to the orphanage. "Hey, Anjani!" call brother Zein.

Philip's brother and I ran as fast as possible, praying that Ratih's mother had not arrived at the home. Especially if you talk to the head.

"Aaaaaaa," I fell down because I tripped over a rock. My knees are bleeding.

"Anjani, are you okay?" ask brother Philip.

"So go brother .. quickly prevent Mrs Ratih. Don't let me talk to the head mom. I don't want to be adopted." I asked, linking hands together, with teary eyes.

Actually, the wound on my leg hurts a lot, it's hard to walk, but I don't want to if this prevents us from blocking Ratih's mother.

"Sister, let's go!" doors again.

Brother Philip looked doubtful, he did not want to leave me alone in pain, but because I kept on forcing, finally brother Philip ran fast towards the orphanage. I could do nothing but wait expectantly for Brother Philip to stop Mrs Ratih.

The wound in my leg started to hurt, throbbing, probably because there was a lot of sand and dust curling there.

"Duh," I grimaced, trying to get up while blowing it, but it was a little hard.

"Anjani!" brother Zein approached me. "You why? Oh my God, your leg is hurt? Where's philip? The boy, he said he wanted to take care of you, but instead left you alone here!" said brother Zein.

"Sister Philip's going to the parlor,"

"Make what? He should've helped you, that kid was actually unreliable. But I don't know why you chose him as a friend!"

"Sister Philip isn't like that!"

"Keep defending him, look, your foot is hurt like this but he left you!"

"Sister Philip left because I asked him to,"

"Stay, he should have helped you first. Watch it later, if I see you I'll teach him a lesson. You can't be friends with her anymore, Anjani, understand!"

"don't want. Brother Philip is my brother, he is my guardian angel. He'll take care of me until mom and dad come."

"I can take care of you too!"

"I tell you the truth, Anjani. That your father and mother ...."

"Even, enough! Don't brag anymore. I hate my sister!"

My face reddened at the words of Brother Zein. Why does he still say that I'm a banished child. That's not true. Mom and Dad will pick me up.

"If you hadn't been dumped by your parents, you wouldn't be here Anjani!" brother Zein added, he still insists on his opinion.

"Sister turned out to be just as evil as Diana and her friends!" I said in a stammering voice, while my eyes began to glaze over. I'm getting pissed at him. Turns out Zein's sister just wanted to piss me off.

"Anjani, I just want to ...."

"Go .. go. Don't bother me!" I threw out Brother Zein, not wanting to see his face again.

"Anjani!" from afar, Brother Philip waved his hand, he was on a motorcycle, rammed by Bu Ratih.

"Sister Philip, Miss Ratih ..." I replied while waving my hand as well as Philip's brother.

"Anjani, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" philip asked, as soon as he got off the bike. "Hei Zein, what did you do to my Anjani? Why is she crying?" philip's question was with Brother Zein.

"That's, I just ..." Brother Zein couldn't answer.

"You, I told you not to approach Anjani again. Don't bother him, why don't you follow what I'm saying?" brother Philip is preparing to fight brother Zein.

"Philip, you're mistaken. I'm just telling Anjani what the truth is."

"Say what?"

"That he does not have to wait for his father and mother anymore. Anjani's been dumped by Philip, there's no way her parents will come."

"Silence you're Zein!"

"Sir Zein is evil .. evil!" I cried sobbing.

"You really don't have a heart, Zein!" said brother Philip.

"Anjani, geez, are you hurt, son?" Madam Ratih immediately took a handkerchief and a bottle of drinking water from her bag, then wet the handkerchief, then washed the wounds on my feet. "Philip, help mom buy plaster to cover Anjani's wounds." pinta Bu Ratih, while handing over a piece of money to Philip's brother.

After receiving the money from Mrs Ratih, Brother Philip immediately ran towards the nearest stall. While Bu Ratih still cleaned my wounds carefully, while blowing them occasionally.

This treatment is like Mom's. In the past, while playing in the park, I once fell off my bike and got hurt. Then mom treated it carefully, every time I grimaced, then mom would wipe me.

Mom said, if I get sick, I feel pain too. That's why my mom always took care of me carefully.

"Anjani, are you crying son?" ask Mrs Ratih.

"Mother cleans Jani's wounds like Anjani's own mother." I said.

Mrs Ratih hugged me, only to let go of her embrace when Philip came with a plaster to cover the wound on my leg.

"The wound is clean, it's covered with plaster as well. Now try to stand up, dear" said Mrs Ratih.

I slowly tried to get up, still sick, but not as sick as the first moment. I can also walk.

"Alhamdulillah is healed!" I said.

"Alhamdulillah" said Mrs Ratih, brother Philip and brother Zein.
