An Unwanted Wedding

An Unwanted Wedding
Eps124-star. A message.

Kinara ordered an ojek online and went home. In his heart he wondered. Where's David half today? Why is there no news? even the chat has not been opened until now.

Until the night before, David still faithfully accompanied Charai. The ex-husband was sitting down to eat while chatting in a hospital restaurant.

David deliberately invites Chaira there so that Chaira does not grieve anymore, David also tells a lot of stories trying to distract Chaira. David becomes a comfort angel for his ex-wife.

Amidst the fun they chatted, David's eyes accidentally saw the clock on Chaira's phone screen that was lit because there was a message coming in.

"What time is this?" david asked quickly as if he had just regained consciousness from his long sleep.

"Hour nine more" said Chaira casually.

"Jeez, I'm going home first, tomorrow if there's a time I'll see you again" David said. The man stood up and was about to leave.

"Wait, Dav" intercepts Chaira stopping David's steps. "Why do you look rushed? Is there a problem?" ask Chaira.

"No, there's an important job I have to finish now" David said.

"Oh" Chaira nodded in understanding. "This is your suit not brought?" chaira said while holding David's suit still attached to both shoulders.

"Just wear it, it's cold night. You can return it later"

"Thank you" Chaira said as she looked at David who had stepped away. Chaira smiled happily because David still cared about her.

David drove the car to defend the cold night wind, when entering the quiet lane, David stuck high gas to get to the destination quickly.

On the way, David had turned on his phone which turned out to be dead shortly from when. David, who had just read a message from Kinara, tried to contact the girl.

Several times the phone connection was connected, but Kinara did not pick it up at all. David was getting impatient to get to Kinara's house quickly.

David got out of the car when he reached Kinara's yard. David ran towards the door and knocked.

"Nara" called David from outside the door.

Shortly after, the door of the house was opened.

"Nara is there, sir?" david looked impatient.

"There"

"May I speak to him for a moment?"

"Byeah, let's go in. Let me wake you up first"

"wake? Is she asleep, sir?"

"Lacking to know David's son, his room lamp is dead, he may have gone to sleep" explained Kinara's father. The old man knew his daughter's habits, if her room light was off, meaning Kinara had fallen asleep.

"Sir! May I knock on the door, Nara? There's something important we need to get done right now." David asked permission.

"Could it, please" Kinara's father shifted and gave way to David so that the man could enter.

"Thank you, sir" said and immediately stepped inside.

"Wait, David boy" call Kinara's father.

David stopped his steps and turned to the old man.

"Whatever the problems that have occurred between you, I hope that involving your daughter is too far. His life has suffered enough, don't lose it again" Kinara's father said. The old man walked out of the house intentionally giving David and his daughter space to talk. Not to forget he bred the door of the house open so that David did not do labor things to Kinara.

Davdid paused for a moment, trying to discern Kinara's father's words.

Geck, tok, tok.

Three times David knocked, but there was no word from the room.

"Nara! open the door, I know you haven't slept" David said as he continued to form.

"Nara, I count to three, if this door doesn't open, then …."

"Then what honorable Mr David?" kinara asked after opening the door of her room.
