Alice In Another World's

Alice In Another World's
Chapter 13: A Gift From Work

I was about to jump back when my entire ground was frozen in ice.

In front of me the witch who did it grinned happily, not limited to ice, but, he also used fire magic that I collided with with my wind magic as the result made the flame even bigger like a tornado before it actually nearly swept me away with a death.

I immediately turned off the tip of my slightly burnt clothes, all the magic created by the elves in the past but did not rule out the possibility that humans could also be on par with their strength, as this woman now showed, though, he's very strong.

"If you can only use one magic, I admit you're brave enough not to run away."

I smiled wryly before replying.

"Only one magic thing doesn't matter if your country loses it."

"Unfortunately the thing you took is something important to us."

"It's quite surprising that someone who has stolen it says such a thing."

"You already know everything from the elves it's not. I warn you if you intend to escape I will say that the elves have stolen our magic and it will create a new war."

"You're really stubborn."

I could tell what he would do later on, how much the elves defended themselves, they would not win. Basically the elves always lived a closed life then they did not have such things as cooperation with other countries, on the other hand the witch country could affect other countries.

It's obviously very dangerous.

"Of course if you can beat me I'll shut it all down here."

I smiled as I pulled out my dagger.

"I think that's the only way."

I sped up at high speed, the witch was an expert in far-off attacks, all I had to do was to get close and attack her continuously, I jumped over his head preparing to give a swooping kick as an ice golem held my leg and then gripped it before throwing me away combing the ground before rolling around several times while hitting a tree.

I could feel a clear pain as each of my bodies collided with whatever I was passing through, of course I was not that weak to death.

I still keep my consciousness.

"If you pass out with just that, you're really weak."

The woman or I have to say Grimore created a few extra ice golems that each hit me, out of all I just learned wind magic to be able to defeat these golems, I cut them with one slash. When their bodies fell I darted back.

Grimore prepared to cast the next magic unfortunately I first threw the needle making both his hands paralyzed for a while.

"What?"

"How powerful is the magic you use, it's useless if it's not active."

I disappeared right in front of his eyes, he turned sideways in the direction where I came, when he retreated I had already dealt a punch in the stomach, no need to ask anymore it was enough to make him spit something out of his mouth and faint.

I could see that he was already helpless on the ground, this was my first time fighting someone up to like this, before trouble sprang up I had better get out of here.

I found out George and Lydia had been waiting for me with the queen in a special room, they were quite surprised when I dropped the booty that was the Grimore itself.

I've tied her up with a rope, it should be fine when she wakes up.

"Why did you bring this guy?" ask Lydia as a representative.

"He's the only one who knows that you're elves, it's risky to leave him alone. Let's think what we should do with him, we can torture him to death, or sell him."

The elves looked at me with troubled eyes.

"You're really mean."

Okay, that's just a joke.

"Why me, let me go."

The elf queen was about to do what she wanted but I stopped her immediately.

"I want you to explain why you want this crystal so badly, depending on what you say, maybe we have a solution for everyone."

Grimore averted his gaze, although he was annoyed and angry, he started to open his mouth to answer my question briefly.

"I used to be a victim of war, my village was destroyed and to continue living I learned magic until like this, even though basically my reason was like that, I actually wanted to return my village back to the old days, he said, after the war I started to do the retreat but unfortunately it failed."

"Until you find out about this elf crystal?"

"Right, I thought if I used it I might be able to restore my village."

I turned my gaze towards the queen who shook her head before replying.

"This crystal can only be used by elves, which is why it will be useless, it is true that something grows from the ground but sooner the trees will rot."

"So what did I do in vain?"

"It would be much better if you ask him carefully, we don't mind helping."

Grimore's expression was more astonished.

"We are right to stay away from other races but that doesn't mean we don't want to help anyone, let's bring your village back soon."

Grimore simply lowered his head in thanks with tears drenching the floor. I want to see how the village is restored when unfortunately I choose to continue the journey immediately.

Earlier I was amazed that Grimore could sneak into this region so well. Well, it's just a compliment I didn't tell anyone.

I received the promised reward before climbing on White's back.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay here any longer Alice?"

"There's a myriad of adventures waiting for me, which is why I can't wait to see them."

"So, what do you think the teleportation scrolls want you to use to go home."

"I'm from a faraway place, likely with just this I can go home easily."

I did not try to offend that I was actually from another world.

"I hope you can enjoy your adventure and find another scroll, I pray for you."

"Thank you so much for everything, goodbye."

"Get yourself, please stop by if you have the chance."

I left these words far behind, the next few weeks I found notice that all villages and towns damaged by war would be restored in the near future. Anyone who feels that there his birthplace can return and try to make the city or village ready together.

The residents who saw that, shouted happily.

They didn't seem to be returning just one place, I approached to notice the small writing on the paper taped to the board.

It says, Alice, did you see it? I hope you will visit me again, I like you, elf queen.

I don't know why I seem to make girls fall in love with me. All I can say is.

"It's awful."
