Episode #17

"Sister went to his room ma, he said he did not want to be disturbed and wanted to be alone" Yumna replied making Sarah worried.

"Tumben Safa wants to be alone? usually when Safa was little she didn't like being alone, she always wanted to hang out with us" Afsana asked.

"Sister also do not know na, lately the brother is always worried about the state of Safa" replied Sarah while sitting on the sofa which is in Yumna's room.

"Sak Safa will be fine, you don't have to worry or think about bad things about Safa. Maybe it's just the feeling of brother, I'll just pray that all our families are okay" Afsana said to calm her sister-in-law.

"You're right, maybe it's just a big brother feeling. Let's just hope everything's okay" Sarah replied trying to calm down.

In Safa's room

Safa was looking at a picture of herself being carried by a woman. That woman is not Sarah, Humita or Afsana. She cried looking at the photo in her hand

Safa kept the photo back in the crate and put it in the closet and did not forget to lock it.

Safa sat on the sofa by the window with her hands hugging her legs and sobbing.

"O Allah, please strengthen Safa" said Safa.

Safa began to lie down on the sofa with her eyes slowly closing.

In the room of a married couple, who else if not Akhtar and Sarah.

Sarah was standing by the window with her hands folded in her chest thinking about Safa.

The bathroom door opened and revealed Akhtar who had just come out of the bathroom.

Akhtar looked at his dreamy wife and approached her and hugged her from behind with his chin on his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" Akhtar asked with Sarah's hand holding Akhtar's hand.

"After Safa came back somehow I was very worried about her situation. And since returning also he was not as happy as before leaving. I know she's grown up and needs some privacy. But I feel like there's something else that's making her moody" Sarah said, turning her back to face Akhtar.

"Sit down" Akhtar said, inviting Sarah to sit on the bed.

"I feel the same way, in the office too my mind is so fucked up I always think of Safa. All this time I have never felt such a thing that makes my mind lately less concentrated if doing work in the office" said Akhtar hugging his wife's waist from the side.

"With what you told me my fear grew" Sarah said sadly.

"Calm down, I'll find out about Safa. But don't tell others they're afraid they're worried too" Akhtar replied, bringing Sarah into his arms and Sarah drowning her face in the recess of Akhtar's neck straining Akhtar.

Sarah, who knew that her husband was already tense, continued to provoke her by holding both hands around her husband's neck.

"Don't lure me dear" said Akhtar holding back his sigh.

"I'm not fishing for you, hubby" Sarah said in Akhtar's ear, leaving him unable to hold on.

And there was a heat struggle.

Next day

Safa went to campus the morning before her family went out of the room for breakfast. Safa also did not say goodbye to her family, nor did she eat breakfast. Safa just left a message to the maids who work at home that she left early in the morning on the grounds of learning the lessons left behind.

"It's a young mistress" replied one of the maids named Yuni.

"Alright, get everyone to breakfast" Sarah said gently.

"Well madam" he answered.

"I've called the madam, soon they will all come down" Yuni said.

"Oh yes, my mistress was fresh, this morning Miss Safa told me that she went first to the campus to learn the lessons left behind. But... " Yuni's speech was cut off from hesitating to continue.

"But what? Ask Sarah to investigate.

" Ta-pi miss Safa does not eat breakfast and goes on public transport" Yuni replied as she bowed her head in fear of her gaze.

"What's? Why did you let my daughter go alone Yuni. Why don't you call Ragil to take my daughter to his college. What if something happens to Safa on the road later. He also did not memorize the streets of this city. Moreover, he has not had breakfast his heartburn will recur if he is late for breakfast" said Sarah worried with eyes that have glazed.

Sarah has been worrying lately about Safa. Whatever it is with Safa she will be very anxious.

Sarah was confused about who to call? Safa has not yet bought a cell phone. Calling her two friends is also free because Sarah does not have it.

Sarah ran back to her room, and she saw her husband putting in the files to go to the office.

"Mas, do you have the second number of her friend Safa?" Sarah stood beside her husband.

"If it's not wrong I only have Tania's number, what's the matter?" Ask Akhtar.

"Hurry up Tania's phone, and ask her if Safa's on campus?" Sarah was worried.

"Safa might still be in his room, I told him that I would deliver to his campus every day" replied Akhtar who did not know what was happening.

"No mas, Yuni said Safa had left early in the morning using public transportation and she had not had breakfast. I was so worried about him. Hurry up and call Safa's friend. Ask her whereabouts" Sarah said in a panic.

"Alright, I'll try to contact Tania, and you calm down and hope Safa is okay" Akhtar said, trying to calm his wife down.

Akhtar reached into his cellphone which was nailed to his pants.

"Hallo Assalamu'alaikum om" Tania said.

"Walaikumsalam Tan, om just wanted to ask, is Safa already in the campus? You see Safa left very early" asked Akhtar.

"Tania is still at home om, after all why Safa left so early in the morning. The campus is not at 8 and it is only at half 7. What Safa forgot the time well, but yesterday I reminded you again" replied Tania confused.

"Alright then, thank you Tan. Sorry for bothering you so early" Akhtar said.

"It's okay, then Tania hangs up. Assalamu'alaikum" Tania said.

"Walaikumsalam" Akhtar replied by turning off the phone.

Sarah, who had been standing near her husband, listened only to the conversation between Tania and her husband.

"Hows it? Has Safa reached campus yet?" Sarah asks who does not know what Tania told her husband.

Akhtar wanted to lie to Sarah so as not to worry too much, but Sarah would know if she was lying.
