Chapter 6

Uci kept his head down after he got a smile from Arifin. His second encounter with Arifin made the girl feel bad.

'I won't get in trouble here, will I?' ingin Uci began to worry.

It was very desirable that the girl immediately ran away and left the factory. Uci recalled the commotion that had happened at the cafe the other day. Still attached clearly in the memory of Uci when he was cursed by the woman who came along with Arifin.

"Rubber, Sir! I spilled a drink into Mr.'s pants the other day," explained Uci seemed embarrassed when Arifin discussed again about the commotion at that time.

"Well, I really didn't expect to see you here again! You work here too?" ask Arifin.

Uci stunned. He thought he would be humiliated. But it turns out that Arifin is very friendly and also polite. The man also did not try to bring up the mistake of Uci who had been careless to spill drinks into his clothes the other day.

"Rubber, Sir. I work here. I also did not expect to see you again here" said Uci.

Uci was feeling anxious and agitated when he saw Arifin's face. Fear if his career will be threatened because of the commotion at the cafe before. But after a short conversation with Arifin, the girl's anxiety was instantly gone. Arifin's hospitality has managed to dispel the agonizing grief and guilt of the test over the past few days.

"Are you done with the food?" ask Arifin. "We'll just sit there, yeah!" take Arifin without hesitation to ask his employees to enjoy lunch with him.

'Mr Arifin asked me to eat lunch at the same table?' inner Uci did not believe.

"Why bengong? Come fast!" exclaim Arifin.

Uci follows Arifin and sits at the same table as his boss. The presence of Arifin in the cafeteria certainly managed to steal the attention of other employees. Moreover, the man was currently enjoying lunch accompanied by one of the female employees.

'Is it okay if I eat lunch with the boss? ' inner Uci feel uncomfortable to see himself who is the center of attention. Arifin's position really made Uci feel intimidated even though Arifin did nothing to her.

"It's been quite a while, sir," uci replied politely. The girl did not even dare to lift her spoon while sitting together with Arifin.

"Then at Skylar's cafe?" asked Arifin with a frown.

"Oh, that's my side job. I'm looking for extra income, so I work at that cafe too" said Uci.

"Oh, so. You have overtime today?" asked Arifin again invite a light conversation until the awkwardness of Uci disappeared.

"Rubber, Sir. Today I have overtime" said Uci.

Their conversation began to flow and Uci began to be relaxed as usual in front of Arifin. Arifin herself also does not have an intimidating Aura, so Uci can feel comfortable around Arifin, even though the girl is currently dealing with a big boss.

"Regarding the commotion at the cafe the other day. I'm sorry on behalf of my friend" Arifin said suddenly.

Uci did not think he would get an apology from Arifin. The girl was guilty, but it was Arifin who apologized to Uci.

"No, Mister. I am the guilty one. It's only natural that your friend feels angry at me. I've been careless," said Uci feel awkward. "Master doesn't have to apologize like this to me" Uci continued.

"You were unintentional, too, right? Erin shouldn't have yelled like that at you and humiliated you in front of so many people. I'm sorry for my friend's overly rude and exaggerated attitude" Arifin continued to apologise to Uci.

"I'm sorry too, sir. I was not intentional, but I remain guilty" said Uci.

Arifin smiled at Uci. Now there was nothing more between them. Both Uci and Arifin have forgiven each other and do not want to bring back the problem.

"alright. It's all done, right? I have forgiven you. You're also willing to forgive my friend, right?" sahut Arifin's.

Uci was relieved. The boss and the men continued their lunch while having a light conversation.

Arifin is really smart to build an atmosphere. The man was able to familiarize himself with Uci in no time. Uci himself also felt a pleasant interaction with Arifin. Although the man was his boss, but Uci did not feel inferior in the slightest and felt comfortable spending time with the boss.

'It turns out Mr. Arifin is very kind and friendly, ' the inner Uci feels grateful to have such a good boss. Now the girl does not have to worry about her work both in the factory and in the cafe.

"Have you finished eating? Add it," Arifin told Uci.

"Already, Sir. I'm full" said Uci timidly.

"Thank you for coming with me to enjoy lunch. Her work spirit, yes!" pamit Arifin on Uci.

The break time is over. Uci should get back to work. The girl continued her work with a bright smile and a cheerful aura.

"It's finally over!" muttered Uci began to feel calm, finally his problem with Arifin can be resolved properly.
