Stone Eyes 19: Suspicion of Advisors

*Maut on the Throne of Baturaharja (Eye of Stone)*

Adviser Angger Buda walked through the corridors of the Palace.he deliberately went around because there were rather strange conditions.

Initially he aimed to meet Prabu Menak Ujung. He should have only been passing through two corridors. However, when he saw that there was something different about some of the soldiers on guard, he decided to go around. In the weapons belonging to most of the soldiers in the Palace were blue ribbons, though not all.

“Warrior!” call Angger Buda when he decides to stop in front of a guard soldier whose gun is tied with a blue ribbon.

“Hamba, Gusti!” the soldier saluted.

“Why are your weapons tied with blue ribbon?” ask Angger Buda coldly.

“This is an order, Gusti,” replied the soldier.

“Who ordered?” tanya Angger Buda.

“Gusti Senopati, Gusti,” replied the soldier lightly.

Angger Buda then just left. Elsewhere, he asked the same of a soldier who did not use a blue ribbon.

“Why don't you put a blue ribbon on your gun like the others?” ask Angger Buda.

“Hamba doesn't understand about that, Gusti,” replied the soldier.

“Why don't you wear it while your other friends wear it?!” asked Angger Buda again, this time his tone loudly indicated that he was angry.

“Hamba really don't know, Gusti!” the soldier replied as he went down on his knees, afraid of being punished by the Advisor. “Hamba don't know why they wear blue ribbon!”

“Huh!” grunts Angger Buda annoyed, then stepped away.

This time the old man went straight to the back garden because Prabu Menak Ujung was going to monitor his dogs.

Behind the palace was a large garden. On one side of it there is the breeding of dogs whose numbers are unmitigated, a hundred more.

Guk guk guk…!

When entering the park, Angger Buda could hear the sound of barking. The closer to captivity, the more boisterous the atmosphere.

Seen outside the breeding cage, Prabu Menak Ujung was playing with a dog as big as a pure white hairy horse. The dog is a type of Kintamani from the island of Walidwipa (Bali). Usually the height is only a range of half a meter, but this one actually doubled.

Together with Prabu Menak Ujung there is Salik Jejaka as the bodyguard of the prabu. Some distance from the king were six guards, three of whom used blue ribbons on their weapons.

When Angger Buda came, he looked at the three soldiers for a while.

“Honor worship servant, Gusti Prabu!” said Angger Buda while down on his knees with both palms stuck in front of the forehead.

“Wake up, Counselor!” command Prabu Menak Ujung while throwing a wooden ball far enough into the middle of the park.

Guk guk!

The big Kintamani dog quickly ran chasing the falling direction of the ball.

“What's so important that you come to me here?” tanya Menak Edge.

“Pardon me, Gusti. Did Gusti Prabu not see any weirdness in the Palace today?” ask Counselor Angger.

“What's weird?” tanya Menak Edge frowning.

“Most of the soldiers in the Palace wore blue ribbons on their weapons. That's something that never happened in this palace. Like those three warriors, Gusti!”

Angger Buda pointed subtly to the guard soldiers. It made Salik Jejaka surprised, but only in his heart.

“Bigger! Advisors are suspicious!” maki Salik in my heart. But he tried to be calm.

“Warrior! You are! Come here!” call Angger Buda by clearly pointing at the soldier in question.

The designated warrior immediately came and immediately knelt in respect. On the handle of his sword was a blue ribbon tied.

“Hamba, Gusti Prabu!” said the soldier.

“An honest answer! Who ordered you to use blue ribbons on your weapons and what does that mean?!” angger Buda asked in an angry tone.

“Ampuni servant, Gusti Prabu!” said the soldier was frightened while prostrating on the ground. “We only carry out orders Gusti Senopati, Gusti Prabu!”

“What does it mean?!” ask Angger Buda again, snapping.

The big dog had returned to Menak Ujung with a wooden ball in his mouth.

“Jurig! Kill!” the Punched Edge command to his dog after taking the ball in his hand.

Graugr!

“Aakk…! Forgive me, Gusti Prabu! Ampuuuns! Akk!” the soldier screamed when the dog named Jurig immediately pounced on him.

Shocked the five guard soldiers who witnessed it firsthand. Salik Jejaka remained standing quietly.

“Allow me to speak, Gusti!” said Salik Jejaka, without caring about the soldiers who were being possessed by Jurig.

“Say!” the Ujung Menak Order.

“If Gusti Prabu allows, I can find out to the commanders of the soldiers,” said Salik Jejaka. “Cause there is no way we ask Senopati Duri Manggala.”

“Do it!” the Ujung Menak Order.

“Hamba please withdraw, Gusti!” salik Jejaka said, then saluted and left.

Angger Buda just looked at the departure of Salik Jejaka with a hostile glance.

“Do you also suspect Salik Jejaka?” tanya Menak Edge.

“Last night he met someone at the Capital inn. Even killed a teliksandi us, Gusti,” Angger Buda replied.

“Jurig! Stop!” yelling Menak Ujung to his dog, after seeing the soldier who was attacked is no longer moving alias dead.

Jurig also removed the body of the soldier who had been covered in blood from the claw wound and severe bite.

“I think Salik Jejaka is a loyal person. However, if he wants to rebel, I doubt he will succeed,” said Menak Ujung.

“Teliksandi we also see the presence of a number of short-lived people in the residence of Mahapati, Gusti. However, it is not known who they really are. It is very strange if Mahapati goes to Repakulo, but the residence is actually crowded by foreigners,” said Angger Buda.

“Send troops to catch those guys!” the Ujung Menak Order.

“Good, Gusti Prabu!” angger Buda. “If so, I beg you, Gusti!”

Penak Ujung just nodded. Angger Buda saluted then walked back and turned away.

“Dispose the corpse into the cage!” menak Ujung orders to the five standing soldiers.

“Good, Gusti Prabu!” say them simultaneously.

Pushing the end and then walking away. Jurig followed soon.

Lucky for two other soldiers with blue ribbons. They were not interrogated like their comrades who had to die with big dogs.

The newly activated Walang Kekek forces in fact had no idea who their commander was. They just follow orders through the ribbon. However, they have been provided with a uniform answer if anyone asks about the unfamiliarity.

There were also the Walang Kekek Army that had been active for a long time, but their existence was outside the Palace. Like the Walang Kekek army commanded by Adimuka and Tibamaling, two Mahapati Abang Garang men.

On his way to Kaputren, Menak Ujung secretly noticed the guard soldiers he was passing through. It was true, some of them wore blue ribbons on their weapons.

“Celevation Kaputren from custody!” menak Ujung orders to the soldiers who stand guard at the caputren.

So the soldiers who stood guard, both the blue band and those who did not, immediately went to leave their posts, so that the captain was completely empty of the soldiers.

“What's up, Kakang Prabu?” ask the Empress Lulu who came out because she heard her husband's screams.

“Maybe there will be an attempt to overthrow me,” Menak Ujung replied keeping calm.

“Where is Manik Sari?” tanya Menak Edge.

“Entahlah, Kakang,” replied Lulu Displaying.

“The boy must have joined Mahapati's army to Repakulo,” was stunned to Menak End after blowing a heavy breath.

Sess! Ctarrs!

Suddenly Penyak Edge flashed a long red light towards the sky. The comet-like beam then burst violently over the capital Jayamata. (BH)
