Maya sits excitedly in her chair, her eyes sparkling as she begins her story. The light of the gentle carriage illuminated her cheerful face. "All right, now it's my turn. This is a story about my incredible trip abroad, to a place very different from what I usually experience in Indonesia."
Ahmad, with great curiosity, asked, "Where did you go, Maya?"
Maya replies with a smile, "I went to Switzerland, a country known for its mountains and natural beauty. But, what made this trip truly remarkable was my skydiving experience."
Siti was impressed and asked, "Have you ever done parachuting before?"
Maya shook her head and replied, "No, this is the first time. And what makes it even more interesting is that I am someone who is very afraid of heights. I always feel anxious when I'm on high."
Rama is intrigued and asks, "Then, what prompted you to try parachuting, Maya?"
Maya replied with determination, "I want to overcome my fears. I believe that sometimes we have to get out of our comfort zone to feel a fuller life. So, I decided to try skydiving as a challenge to myself."
The Maya began to depict the atmosphere in Switzerland, with snowy mountains soaring high and winding roads between green valleys. He described how the bright blue sky greeted them when the day of her skydiving arrived.
While recounting her experience, Maya begins to draw small pictures on the dining table serviette. The images feature a lone umbrella open in the air, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. He described his expression of enthusiasm and fear as he jumped from the plane, as well as an overwhelming sense of freedom as he flew through the air.
Siti passionately asked, "How did you feel when you first jumped?"
Maya smiled, "It was a mixed feeling of overwhelming fear and excitement. As I jumped, I felt like I was free like a bird and all my fear of heights was gone. It feels so deep and liberating."
Rama is intrigued and comments, "What an impressive experience, Maya. Do you want to do it again?"
Maya replied with a smile, "I definitely want to do it again. Parachuting has changed the way I look at life. It taught me that when we face our fears and step out of our comfort zone, we can achieve extraordinary things."
They all felt inspired by Maya's story of her courage and determination to overcome her fears. With small images on the serviette as a visual addition, the story becomes more vivid and engaging. In a fast train that continues to drive across beautiful mountains, they feel closer to each other and are ready to go on an unforgettable adventure together.
Siti sat gently in her chair, her eyes shining as she began to recount a very meaningful experience in her life. The light of the carriage formed a gentle spotlight on his warm face. In a warm tone, he said, "My story is about my job as a doctor, a profession that has given me a lot of meaning in my life."
Maya with interest asks, "When did you first feel confident that becoming a doctor was your calling, Siti?"
Siti smiled and replied, "I think this call has been around since I was a child. I always wanted to help others, and whenever anyone got sick in our village, I always felt like helping them heal. So, when I decided to pursue a career as a doctor, it was a natural choice for me."
Rama, who was very interested in Siti's story, asked, "What was one of your most memorable experiences as a doctor, Siti?"
Siti began to recount one of the toughest and most memorable experiences of her career. "One experience I will never forget was when I took care of a young child who was suffering from a serious life-threatening illness. His family was very worried and desperate, and I felt a great responsibility to help them."
Maya passionately asks, "What happened next, Siti?"
Siti explained in a warm voice, "Alhamdulillah, the child is finally cured. When he and his family heard the good news, they were very grateful. It was an emotional moment, where we all felt so united in happiness. I can't describe how excited I was to see the boy come back to play and laugh freely."
Ahmad smiled and said, "It was an amazing experience, Siti. I'm very appreciative of your work as a doctor."
Siti smiled gratefully and replied, "Thank you, Ahmad. My job as a doctor is a call to the heart, and whenever I can help someone get well, it is the greatest gift to me."
They all felt inspired by Siti's story of her dedication as a doctor and her ability to bring happiness to her patients. Siti has shown how important feelings of empathy and caring are in her work, and her story has intrigued them all. In a fast train driving through beautiful natural scenery, they feel closer to each other and are ready for an unforgettable adventure together.
The night was getting late in the fast train that drove to Bandung. The gentle light of the train gives a magical touch to their moments. There was a cheerful laughter from Siti, Ahmad, Maya, and Rama who were still laughing after hearing the funny stories before. The warm and friendly atmosphere between them felt like friends who had not met for a long time, and they felt closer to each other.
While they were drowning in laughter, a small child playing with balloons in the hallway of the train approached them. The boy was about five years old, with eyes sparkling with happiness. It has a colorful heart-shaped balloon beam that it tightly holds.
With a big smile, the boy approached Siti, Ahmad, Maya, and Rama. He gave each of them a brightly colored heart balloon. The balloons flew to the ceiling of the carriage and floated above them, creating a beautiful and joyful moment.
Rama astonishedly stared at the heart balloon floating above him and commented, "Wow, this is really unexpected. Thank you, little one!"
The little boy just smiled and nodded, as if he knew that the balloons would bring happiness to them. The balloons symbolized their newly intertwined friendship in this fast car, and they all felt moved by the kindness of the little boy.
Maya looked at the little boy gently and asked, "What's your name, son?"
The little boy timidly replied, "My name is Dika, Mom."
Siti smiled gently and said, "Thank you, Dika. This balloon is beautiful. We'll keep it as a memento of this trip."
Ahmad added, "Yes, Dika, you have made our trip even more special."
Dika just smiled happily, then returned to his game with the remaining balloons. The moment broke the silence between them, and they felt closer to each other because of Dika's kindness.
As the heart balloons floated above them, they decided to let them float until the end of the journey. The balloons became a symbol of their newly formed friendship inside this Jakarta-Bandung fast train. Although their journey has been filled with stories of life, laughter, and happiness, these moments give them a sense of warmth and remind them of the good that can be encountered in unexpected places.
In the gentle light of the train and with heart balloons floating above them, they feel united in the wonderful moments they share together. Their incredible journey on this fast train not only takes them to Bandung, but also takes them into an unforgettable journey of friendship.
