Damar then picks up the weapon from behind his seat, while Alex accelerates to catch up to the car carrying Felitha and Grace.

Luckily, their car is on an empty road, so even speeding at high speed will not make them hit the car or cause other accidents. Alex was used to driving at a fairly high speed, so he didn't lose control just because he was speeding too fast.
