Haezel. Cheryl also took the pecking when she saw Haezel who suddenly came to the store where he was for sustenance.
"Cheryl!" Mumbled Haezel who still can not believe to see the appearance of Cheryl who has now changed a lot. The woman looked skinny and her face was also a little pale.
"What are you buying" asked Cheryl, avoiding Haezel's gaze. Cheryl is pretending not to know Haezel.
"Where have you been?" Instead of answering Cheryl's question, Haezel asked her back.
"Mom!"call Cheryl then I don't know who.
"Mom, someone bought it!" Call Cheryl again and rush in without even answering Haezel's question. But Haezel quickly grabbed Cheryl's hand which felt like it was just a bone wrapped in skin.
Geez!
What's wrong with this woman?
"Buy what, Cheryl? You don't know the price?" Ask the mothers of the shop owners who finally came out.
"I don't know, Mom! I entered because I had forgotten that the iron had not died" Cheryl replied, releasing Haezel's hand quickly and rushing inside.
As closely as?
What does it mean that Cheryl is the ironsman in this laundry who means Charlotte's mommy?
"What do you want to buy, Mom?" Ask the shopkeeper's mother to yell at Haezel's daydream.
"Ball, Mom!" Haezel replied stammering.
"And milk boxes one cardboard box if there is one," Haezel continued as the store owner picked up a plastic ball for Haezel.
"What do you think the milk is?" Ask the shop owner again.
"Strawberries," Haezel replied quickly.
Haezel then paid for all his groceries with the thought still on Cheryl earlier.
"Mom, sorry! That was your employee?" Haezel asked at last who was unable to hold back her curiosity anymore.
"Cheryl? Yeah, he's an employee at the laundry." Obviously the shop owner's mother.
"Died here too?" Ask Haezel again.
"Why ask? Knowing indeed?" Ask the shop owner's mother squeaking suspiciously.
"No, sorry!" Haezel said quickly while smiling stiffly.
"It's the milk and the ball, Mas!" The shop owner's mother gave Haezel a plastic ball and a box of milk.
Haezel immediately left the store and returned to the field, approaching Mayra who was still guarding Zelyra who was apparently familiar with Charlotte.
"Have the milk, Mas? Loh, buy a cardboard?" Mayra slightly chuckled to see her husband who bought milk for one cardboard.
"You should share it with the kids! That workshop guy's here!" Haezel told Mayra, before the man ran across the street to approach two people waiting for him near the car.
****
Mayra notices Charlotte, who is so engrossed in drinking the milk box that Haezel had bought her. The boy had even finished three boxes, as if he was starving.
"Charlotte ate?" Mayra asked while tidying up Charlotte's slightly irregular hair. For some reason, the more Mayra noticed, Charlotte's face even more like Haezel's face, especially from the shape of her nose and chin.
Zelyra is not very similar to Haezel and instead tends to look like Mayra. How strange!
Charlotte just shook her head and went back to sipping her box milk.
"Where does Charles live?" Mayra asked the little girl next.
"Far away," Charlotte replied fixedly with her innocent expression.
"May, the tires have been replaced" reported Haezel who had approached Mayra who was still busy questioning Charlotte.
"Dad! Lyra and Charlotte are friends" said Zelyra, who approached Haezel and jumped into her arms. Charlotte raised her face and looked at the familiarity of Haezel and Zelyra. It was obvious that the eyes were sad from the little girl.
"Yes! The car's done getting repaired." Haezel replied, staring at Charlotte. Haezel and Charlotte's eyes met and Haezel was immediately glued.
"We're taking Charlotte to her mom first how? Poor, it seems not to have eaten either," Mayra suggested, which immediately jerked Haezel's daydream.
"What's? What, Honey?" Haezel asked stuttered who did not pay much heed to Mayra's words just now.
"We're taking Charlotte to-"
"Charlotte!"
Mayra had not finished her sentence when she saw a woman from the side of the field calling out Charlotte's name.
"Charlotte! Let's go!" Call the woman again who Haezel can recognize her voice immediately. Cheryl!
Means right!
Charlotte is Cheryl's son!
Then who's his real father?
Reynolds?
Or Haezel?
"That's Charlotte's mom, is it?" Mayra asked, who had been swiftly holding Charlotte's hand and was about to deliver the little girl to her mother who was also walking towards Charlotte and Mayra. But Haezel swiftly took over Charlotte's hand.
"Let me drive Charlotte, May!" Said Haezel who had changed to take Charlotte and bring her to Cheryl who is now just staring and staring at Haezel.
"Mommy, look! Charlotte's drinking milk!" Charlotte showed the milk in her hand cheerfully towards Cheryl who was still sculpting.
Obviously already!
Charlotte is Cheryl's son!
Haezel delivers Charlotte to Cheryl who is just sculpting.
"Thank you for the milk, Om!" Charlotte said to Haezel with a faint smile.
"Together!" Haezel answered while rubbing Charlotte's head which has now been held by Cheryl.
"Let's go home, Charlotte!" Take Cheryl fast while pulling Charlotte's hand.
"Cheryl, wait!" Call Haezel who immediately makes Cheryl stop her steps. But the woman did not look at Haezel at all.
"You're married?" Haezel next asked Cheryl who kept her back.
"Not yet!" Cheryl answered briefly before then the woman continued her steps and left Haezel who was just sculpting.
"Mas!" Tegur Mayra who has approached Haezel.
"Did you know Charlotte's mom?" Mayra asked that directly made Haezel shake faintly.
"Let's go home!" Take Haezel next while taking over Zelyra who has started to sleep from Mayra's sling, then Haezel embraces his wife and the small family walks off the field.
A million questions still fill Haezel's heart niche about who Charlotte's real father is. Could it be that Haezel is the real father of the five-year-old girl?
