Prolog: Reincarnation of the Spirit

In the vast darkness with many small glimmers of light scattered everywhere, there was a being that could be considered as God.

"This particular "God" was assigned with a task in a place where bursts of paradoxical phenomena occurred that could ultimately be incomprehensible to creatures like ordinary humans.

"God" was given the task of correcting this paradoxical phenomenon, which is directly related to {Law of the Universe}, namely and

This was a great achievement to be achieved, according to his authority as a True God that he had built up over thousands of years.

Although it was a huge task, meant to be done by someone with "ability" like him, he found the job rather unpleasant.

The only reason why the "God" did this despite inner aversion was because no one else could do it but himself. He would pass this work on to others if any other god was able to accomplish this feat.

But, honey, nothing.

So, the "God" finally accomplishes this absurd task where he has to fix the so-called paradoxical phenomenon that destroys and distorts many worlds throughout the universe.

"This "God" had been working on this situation for almost a thousand years, and this seemed to indicate that previously he had not stopped doing this.

"God" could only sigh with regret that he finally had to do this job.

That's when in the area of concern of this creature, there is a gap of space and time.

"The "god" calmly teleported and appeared right in front of the crack, which was starting to get bigger.

"This "breakdown" is one of the main parts of God's work, where He must close and pluck out the root from which the fault came to prevent it from happening again. 

"God" has done this many times, only to realize that he needs forever to complete this task.

Just when the "God" is about to start closing the gap

"You.... Hm. Another pathetic child."

"God" said with a hint of sadness that was only visible for a moment before he returned to his neutral expression.

"..."

"He" did not answer "God", who expected nothing from him at all.

"I'd better help you show up here. After all, it was almost impossible for someone to get here by chance or luck."

"God" says this with gratitude to the child for relieving some of his stress, which builds up over time.

"God" begins to tear apart the mind of mortal man in search of his deepest desire, and he aides grant it to the best of his ability.

A moment is enough for the "God" to find the deepest desire of "He". 

Smiling merrily, "God" thought of these desires. He then passed the information on to humans as if it was introducing him to something.

"Let's see... Your name is Lucifer Zwei Archangel... A name that is too long and interesting. Thinking that your parents named you after a creature that means evil in the most famous religion in your world," "God" chuckled, throwing a cheerful look at Lucifer.

"As you wish. Now I understand the reason why your miserable existence has reached this place, albeit vaguely."

"God" then raised his hand and made a gesture as he began to transfer part of his divinity to Lucifer.

"Now when I think about it, it seems that just because I did it myself does not guarantee success without the consent of the other party. Lucifer Zwei Archangel, say your wish and I will fulfill it!"

"God" commanded, and Lucifer opened his 'nothing' mouth, slowly expressing his wish right in front of the almighty being in front of him.

Then the "God" listens, like a priest listening to someone's confession. 

"God" already knew what Lucifer wanted, but it was different from what he expected.

Humans did have boundless greed to the point where even a "God" could gasp in surprise.

"...Now that I have heard of your wishes, or rather desires from you personally, I cannot help but think that there are too many. Let's shorten and limit it to five requests, what you want may be breaking or, at worst, ruining what's in the universe. It would be a shame to kill you personally if you end up being a "phenomenon""

Lucifer did not seem to be complaining, for he realized that some of his wishes would be granted, and he should have been rejoicing over it. After all, it seemed like he could not force some Gods to fulfill his deepest desires.

So, among his countless desires, he chose the five most interesting ones. Lucifer still thought to himself that this was some kind of dream, after which he would wake up.

"First, I want to reincarnate in another world while retaining my memories..."

"Huh. One typical novel trope where the protagonist is a reincarnated individual, yes. The typical ugly Isekai did not lose popularity even in your world. Also, it is considered as two requests if you want to retain your memories! Still, I am kind and generous, so I will grant it without consideration and fulfill both at the expense of one wish!" the word "God", adds some facts at the end in a formidable tone.

Lucifer, on the other hand, was astonished at how God even knew about these things! Think of what "God" can know about the genre of novels, manga, and anime! As expected of a god!

that was what Lucifer wanted to say if not for the fear and admiration he was currently experiencing.

Thinking about it, Lucifer uttered his second request.

"I want to reincarnate in the anime world that I know..."

"Now what? Fanfic plot? I wonder if the author who wrote your story will now be accused of plagiarism and copyright infringement"

"...."

Lucifer, who was still unable to fully recover from the shock he had experienced earlier, was hit by another blow, making him think that this dream was very strange.

So why bother if it's the norm, or so he thought.

"Next Desire"

"Hm... Well, that's interesting. Of all the wishes you could have, did you use them to choose your species?"

"Because being human I think sucks in various anime worlds." replied Lucifer.

"... You're right about something. But you can't deny that being human means you can have almost unlimited potential. Not that this happens all the time, but, if I may say so, often. Except the desire about [Spirit]? Your wish is too vague. What is [Spirit]?"

"...something in novels and anime?"

"..."

"God" mentally breaks his head when the human asks a question rather than an answer. 

However, the answer is the answer even though it's a question, right...?

"Then I'll do it randomly. Good luck with [Spirit] where you end up."

"Good"

"What's the fourth?"

"I want to have the [Divine] that the Gods have. To be exact, a True God is like you."

"OK, I'll take care of it," replied "God" saying as quickly as I can say, without a word or question about his request.

"..."

This left Lucifer speechless for a moment, wondering if this "God" knew what he really meant by this desire.

"What's? You wonder why I accepted this wish?"

Lucifer nodded.

"Because it's interesting, that's why. Well for the last one, say, say the will to finish."

"...."

..

...

So, an hour had passed, and Lucifer still had not made his final request. This causes the patience of the "God" to slowly run out and warn him.

"Look what I said! I don't have enough time to play around with you, Man. I've wasted my precious time on you, which wasn't meant for this. Speak quickly so we can finally end this. !" "God" exclaimed in an annoyed tone due to the fact that it took Lucifer more than an hour to utter his last request.

"I, uh..."

Lucifer was still thinking about what desire he wanted! Maybe System? Maybe harem? A charm that can make any woman spread her legs in front of you? Oh, maybe superpower? Who knows what he will choose.

"God" looked at Lucifer coldly with his annoyed eyes.

"God" could not clearly see the face this mortal man had, because he had no face at all. The person who was right in front of him had a mannequin-like body painted black with purple-colored electric streaks covering his body.

"God" noticed that this soul could no longer be saved, and he simply waited to be forgotten at any moment. However, why did the "God" invite him to grant five requests?

Because "God" was bored, so he seriously even used some of his [Power] to correct the soul of that pitiful creature!

That's all!

Simple and clear!

However, the patience of the "God" is running out, as Lucifer wastes too much of his time.

And now, after another hour, "God" will be wrathful.

"Well, that surprised me. To think that a simple person like you could exhaust my patience to the limit. I'm done with this shit!" The sound of "God" echoed throughout the place and turned it into a pitch-black void that would engulf almost anything and everything with bottomless darkness.

This is the moment when Lucifer realizes that he messed up.

"First! I will grant your damn wish, for I am the God of my words. I will not reincarnate you, but I will move your soul to a random void in this void. So good luck with whatever comes into your soul.

Second! Your memories will remain intact even after you enter another world! Also, I will send you to the world of anime or novels as a gift rather than sending you to a place like a chaotic world or something like that.

Third, you will become a [Spirit], and this race will adapt depending on which world you are in.

Fourth, did you say [Deity]? Ha! Goody! It will affect your race and turn you into a God-Spirit Hybrid! Beware of god hunters if you appear in such a world.

Fifth! I gave you the ability to travel to a different world! Whahuh? Surprised? Am I being generous? Well, yes and no. The world that you will go to after the previous one will be random and forcibly shifted no matter what time or what circumstances you are in. Akj hope you don't end up in the middle of a holy war or something.

That's finally!"

And now the "God", finally, fulfilled all Lucifer's wishes, without even listening to the words of human gratitude. Not because "God" cared about it from the start.

But after the "God" removed Lucifer, the shards of [Chaos] slipped into the human psyche.

If the "God" knows this, the "God" can say that he must kill Lucifer as quickly as possible so that no more problems arise, because these fragments are the main cause of this paradoxical phenomenon!

But the Almighty does not know, so everything is fine!

Thus, the beginning of our protagonist's story in another world will occur, bringing change to the world where he will fall in the present and the future!
