67. Snow Princess vs Witch Queen IV

"It's...."

"What is the final round of a tournament as horrible as this every year?"

"I don't remember."

Most of the spectators were silent watching the thing that had just happened in front of them, some were expressing their admiration, the rest were fainting and frightened. Wh why? It was because of the frightening sight before them.

Thanks to the clash of Salvia and Verna styles, the entire arena almost turned into an ice field along with all its spectators. If it wasn't for the protective wall that the security guards activated, maybe everyone in this place would have frozen in the snow.

On the field side of the arena itself there were no signs of life whatsoever. As far as they could see was only the pink snowfields of Salvia that were so much created up to two meters high.

"What's going on? Who's winner?" The host spontaneously asked, just getting up from the floor in shock and panic he could be hit by an attack, luckily the arena protectors were functioning so well that no one outside the arena grounds was injured.

Silence ruled the entire arena for some time until the pink snow fields began to slowly disappear, making the arena field show two similar domes, like the other, it's just that one of the domes is made of snow and the other one seems to be formed from a solid collection of yellowish rock.

Almost at the same time the two different dome material collapsed, seen a pair of girls standing opposite each other. True, they are Verna and Salvia, both still survive.

The difference between the two was that Verna was still standing upright but this time her appearance changed again into a yellowish brown robe accompanied by a pair of my sesame gloves, while Salvia seemed to tremble violently, standing up was already difficult for her.

"A strike of that magnitude can't bring you down?" Salvia smiled wryly seeing Verna barely sweat to withstand her attack, whereas Snow Eruption just now was among her strongest attacks. He then fell to his knees on the arena floor, his hair color and irises turning silver again.

Verna shrugged her shoulders in response to Salvia's words, "I told you before, I'm your worst opponent."

"But, you are indeed great to be able to corner me to this extent under such conditions," Verna smiled gently before raising one hand forward, "I admire you, Salvia."

Verna once again changed her appearance, this time her dress changed color to a bright blue slightly greenish accompanied by a similarly colored cape fluttering, as well as her hair and irises, "Elemental Dress – Blue Dolphin."

"At least I will subvert you with one strike." Right after saying so, Verna created a small ball of water that slowly expanded in her palm until it reached the size of a car, "Tow him down, Flood Hydra."

The giant water ball split into nine parts which then took the form of a long dragon snake, then darted quickly to target Salvia who was kneeling helplessly.

Salvia glared at the nine water dragon snakes that darted towards her at high speed, but a moment later her lips flashed a smile. He raised his hand forward and said, "Niflheim Breeze!"

In an instant all of Salvia's hair and irises turned pink again, and her hands emitted a bright white light that sent a gust of snowy cold wind hitting the nine water dragons belonging to Verna, freeze it in one blow.

Verna's eyes widened fiercely watching her nurse freeze in just a split second, but it was not the time she was amazed by Salvia's attack just now. The snowy winds of Salvia that had managed to freeze the Flood Hydra were still advancing on her.

Verna again unleashed another attack, this time a three-eyed water spear, "Flood Trident!"

Unfortunately the water spear also froze just like the Flood Hydra before, Verna clenched her teeth watching this before changing into a fire red dress, Elemental Dress – Red Lion.

For Salvia to successfully lash out a crushing attack on Verna since their match began, the spectators became excited to see Salvia's snow that did not melt despite encountering Verna's fire which should have been hotter than ordinary fire.

The Guild representatives in their room were also no less excited, they discussed how Salvia neutralized the heat of Verna's fire, whereas since then the snow had always melted when it touched Verna's fire.

When the arena was filled with excitement, Salvia did not feel victorious. He touched the arena floor and closed his eyes trying to concentrate on creating more snow which then moved across the floor from end to end.

Thanks to the steam fog that limited Verna's view, the girl did not realize Salvia was spreading her snow all over the arena in order to prepare for an attack of this size. With the pink snow of her Awakening coupled with the concentration of soul energy, Salvia was confident that her maiden could pierce through Verna's fire.

On the other hand Verna was indeed shocked by this terrifying sight, but she did not lose her mind, "You underestimated me, Salvia!" Verna exclaimed loudly for a moment before once again changing her appearance, but this time it was a little different.

Her dress now turns brown predominantly yellow and looks quite stiff accompanied by a pair of my side gloves such as Elemental Dress – Brown Gorilla, but this time her hair and eyes remain red smoldering, so are the gloves on both arms.

"Magma Crash!" Verna hit the arena floor with all her might using her right arm, causing the arena floor to shatter and burn, then messing up the entire Salvia snow attack despite not succeeding in making it melt.

Salvia clucked softly seeing Verna's power more or less equal to or even surpass Haikal's physical strength, whereas Verna was not a candidate for Warrior-type Blazer. He then hurriedly prepared another move from a distance, this time creating dozens of sharp snow spears, "Snow Edge Rain!"

Dozens of snow spears immediately shot towards where Verna was, but Verna herself had already anticipated Salvia's attack, she created a giant two-meter-long batter made of magma-like fiery rocks, "Magma Beater!"

"Heah!" With her small body, Verna swung the giant beater to smash into Salvia's entire snow spear, smashing it back into soft snow and melting it.

Salvia was eager to curse at Verna's power beyond her shadow, but she now had to prepare another attack before Verna could launch an attack from afar.
